Shah Rukh Khan roasts Karan Johar for hosting shows more than making films; quips, “Picture bhi bana mere bhai”- WATCH

Actor Shah Rukh Khan attended the IIFA 2024 pre-event in Mumbai last night along with Karan Johar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rana Daggubati and Abhishek Banerjee. For the event, Shah Rukh looked handsome as he chopped his gorgeous long tresses. However, the viewers spectated a hilarious moment between Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar when the former roasted the latter.

We just came across a video on social media where SRK is heard saying, “Karan has told me he’s not going to rehearse for hosting, he will do it on Zoom“. Karan was stumped and couldn’t speak anything but hide his face. However, SRK continued to roast him as he said that KJo told him, “‘Bhai main Zoom pe karlunga. Main badi jaldi jaldi karta hoon. Main toh itna hosting karta hoon’… Picture bhi toh bana mere bhai. Tu kitna host karega. (I’ll do it on Zoom. I do it really fast. I do so much hosting’… Make films too. How much more will you host)?”

The audience went bonkers and even Karan laughed. He then quipped, “I was thinking the same when Siddhant (Chaturvedi) said the same thing. I was like, ‘This is sounding so wrong on all levels for a filmmaker’. I should be making more movies. That is exactly what I should be doing.”

SRK and KJo have shared a very close bond for a very long time. They have together as actors in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge where Johar played his friend. Moreover, they have also worked together as actor-director in movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan. In fact, Khan made a cameo for Karan in his movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
